Project Story

As part of the development of a master plan, MCE performed an ASCE 31 Tier 1 Seismic study. This identified the structural seismic hazards and provided recommendations for corrective measures with a general estimate of construction cost for this complex URM structure. Deliverables included an evaluation report outlining existing seismic deficiencies (as identified by the ASCE checklist) and drawings of the existing structure. The seismically deficient areas and locations were outlined and presented in a report for the stakeholders.
