Project Story
Miller Consulting Engineers provided structural engineering services for the rehabilitation of exterior building envelope and site components at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center, a 139-bed teaching hospital serving veterans throughout the region. Working within an active healthcare environment, our team evaluated existing conditions and developed repair solutions that improved the safety, durability, and long-term performance of multiple facilities across the campus.
The project included approximately 5,000 square feet of masonry restoration and tuckpointing, foundation wall repairs, replacement of concrete stairs and stoops, metal siding replacement, new railings, and installation of protective bollards and crash rails. Miller prepared structural calculations, technical specifications, and sealed construction documents, and provided construction-phase support to facilitate successful implementation while minimizing disruption to ongoing hospital operations.
