Project Story
Benton County contracted MCE to seismically evaluate the Benton County URM Courthouse using the ASCE 41-13 standard. MCE evaluated the building using BPOE-1E seismic hazard, which is considered a moderate earthquake, and used the Life Safety and Immediate Occupancy Building Performance Level standards. MCE provided preliminary estimates of probable construction cost to assist the client to make decisions regarding the repairs.
