Privacy

Miller Consulting Engineers runs this website to show our work and to let people reach us. This page explains what the site records about your visit, and why.

What the site records

  • How you move through the site. Each page reports which page you came from, which links and tabs you choose, how long the page stays on your screen, and whether you tap one of our phone numbers. We use this to see which pages help people find the right engineer, and to improve them.
  • A visit identifier. The site stores a random number in your browser so it can recognise a later visit from the same browser. It contains nothing about you, is never shared, and expires after 13 months. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
  • Google Analytics. We also use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies, to measure visits and searches. Google's use of that data is described in Google's privacy policy.
  • Messages you send us. When you use a contact form, we keep what you write and your contact details so we can reply, and to keep our records of enquiries.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell information about visitors, or use it for advertising aimed at you on other sites.
  • Our own records of how people use the site don't store your IP address.
  • We don't record anything when you're signed in to edit the site.

Your choices

  • If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the site doesn't set its visit identifier, and counts your visit only within that browser tab.
  • Visitors in Europe and the United Kingdom are not given a visit identifier.
  • To ask what we hold about an enquiry you sent, or to ask us to delete it, use the contact form at the bottom of this page.

Changes

We'll update this page if what the site records changes. Last updated: 31 October 2026.
