Project Story

Miller Consulting Engineers, Inc. provided structural calculations, details, project specifications, and coordination for this fast-track design/build project for the Nalco Chemical Company facility. Structural information provided for this project was a variety of exterior pipe stanchion support pedestal designs, cooling tower support and anchorage, piping support seismic braced frame, piping support pedestals attached to an existing mechanical mezzanine, seismic bracing and support of suspended air handler units, pipe anchors, guides for a high pressure steam line, coordination with the metal building engineer regarding additional roof piping support and verifying the capacity of the existing roof system, seismic transverse and longitudinal support pipe bracing for miscellaneous lines as well as seismic transverse and longitudinal bracing of trapeze hanger supports.
