Triquint Semiconductor Clean Room Tools Project

Miller Consulting Engineers, Inc. provided seismic bracing desgin for a clean room ceiling and floors including support for production equipment ranging from 200 lbs to 10000 lbs at TriQuint SemiConductor's Beaverton, Oregon Facility.

In this project the client had requested that the design forces be developed to provide continuing operation following a code level seismic event.  Special considerations for the facility required that a structural needs assessment was performed to confirm the required structural performanced of the clean room facility.

Our knowledge and experience with high tech clients allow us to provide recommendations of strengthening measures that meet the clients goals for each project.  Understanding the special needs of these facilities, and the related costs for loss of production as a result of an earthquake is often critically important for these projects.

Over the past 15 years, Miller Consulting Engineers, Inc. has provided structural engineering design  services for Triquint Semiconductors either directly, or indirectly through relationships with various subcontractors.
