As a Project Engineer with Miller Consulting Engineers, Ms. McFeron has design experience with wood, steel, concrete and masonry in commercial and residential applications. Further, she has performed design work on buildings, retaining walls, signs, awnings, steel frames, footbridges, screen walls and anchorage of miscellaneous structures for seismic forces.
Ms. McFeron has an extensive background in the design of structural insulated panels (SIP) structures. Her background includes design of self-supporting interior and exterior coolers and freezers, as well as design of exterior cladding systems. Melissa has also designed several super insulated residential and commercial structures.
Ms. McFeron has demonstrated her structural engineering skill on project both large and small. Recently Ms. McFeron has provided structural design of the Salvation Army Kroc Community Center in Salem, Oregon, a 91,000 square foot community center. Ms. McFeron was instrumental support during construction that allowed the project to be finished on-time and within budget. Melissa continues to work on community centers, churches, warehouses, and residential projects throughout the local area.
